Blue Core

Now-a-days many of Yamaha’s newest lineups come with a Blue Core technology. And all of us have a same question ‘What is a Blue Core? ’.  In simple words, Blue Core is a newer generation engine technology developed in order to increase power and decrease fuel consumption, which leads to a more responding throttle feedback. Despite having a direct relation between power and fuel consumption (whenever power produced by engine increases, the fuel consumption also increases), Yamaha had find a way to reverse it with a Blue Core technology.

Blue Core technology has introduced new improved intake port, improved combustion chamber with lighter moving parts, optimized crank inertia and a new FI system with closed loops which aids in increasing the combustion efficiency with the reduced fuel consumption. Blue Core technology not only increases the power delivery of the engine but also makes it environment friendly because of its lower emissions.
